Lea and John’s New York City wedding is hands-down one of the most sophisticated affairs ever! You can’t go wrong with chic black and white, and there’s plenty of that here—from the classic black bridesmaids dresses to Lea’s elaborately fabulous Monique Lhuillier gown, lush cream flowers by MC Nino Designs Floral & Events, and even the white cake dotted with black accents. The intricate Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinitywas the location of the traditional ceremony, then guests adjourned to Bridgewaters at the seaport for a formal reception filled with great food and dancing. We can’t take our eyes off these edgy, romantic images from Farnaz K Studio!

Here’s a poem I put together for this fashion story:
Here I leave behind my past…..By taking the chance……Thoughts racing fast through my mind……My emotions overload……Now I leave behind my past……..By taking the chance…….Till we reach that distant shore…….Till we reach that promised land…….Maybe I’m a dreamer…….Believe there’s a reason to be……..To reach for something more……..To wanna live a better life…….Believe I can make time stand still…….I tore the windows wide……And call to you across the sky……knowing that it’s meant to be…….till we meet again.
